An important reminder! Glad you have your priorities straight!
Hilarious!
Oops, William and Mary scored. I was watching the scores on ESPN and there were quite a few very large losses. Do you believe it is ok for the coaches to run up the score? I would hope they are playing their second string.
I know it doesn’t look this way but Tech didn’t run up the score. W&M was way behind in the first half and the second team played a LOT in second half. Beamer doesn’t run up the score on purpose, ever, as best I can remember.
Coach may not have run up the score on purpose, but, it was still a rout. Like that being ranked no. 17! We’ll take it.
It definitely was a rout but it wasn’t one of those scary games where a team is so outclassed that you worry that somebody will get hurt. You see that sometimes in high school.
W&M didn’t lack toughness. Mainly, they lacked speed, and speed is where it all begins, I think. As the cliche goes, you can’t teach speed.
Wow Joe,
Do you think you could have done any better with that score prediction besides being physic?
So will the Redskins stomp butt today too .. and what’s your prediction on this one?

NHRA Legend John Force is seriously injured in an accident involving his Funny Car. Will tomorrow’s Roanoke Times report on this accident? My guess is no.
Stardate Sept 24, 2007
What did I tell you folks. The Roanoke Times Groundhogs never even poked their heads out of their hole, sometimes refered to as Dixie Caverans.
